Betsy Ross first graders have been studying penguins. Specifically, they’ve researched Adelies, Emperors, and African Penguins. They’ve learned lots of interesting facts about their characteristics and habitats.
Now that they are ready to present what they’ve learned, they’ll incorporate technology. Since our second graders are experts in creating slide shows on their Chrome books, they are helping their friends in first grade. Mrs. Seery and her class joined Mrs. Perry’s class to show them how to add information and pictures to a Google slide show. Not only have they worked with the program before, they did this very project last year, so they are great coaches for their first grade buddies.
