Students returned to school this week after a restful spring break to unusually chilly weather and spirit week! Students were able to be comfy on Monday during PJ day. They seemed to like the laid back return to work. On Tuesday they were able to give a shout out to their dream school with College shirt day. It was a lot of fun to see the teachers also decked out in some of their college gear. Wednesday was green and gold day–show us your spririt! On Thursday there were an explosion of twins all over the place. Mr. Leandritis and Ms. Bell took top teacher honors that day, but Mr. Almaoui and Mr. Thesen were a close second place! The week rounded out on Friday with crazy hat day. Students loved the chance to wear their favorite hat in school.
Next week is back to business as usual, but it was a great way to come back to work, even if the spring weather felt more like January than April.
