As co-chairs of Housing Forward’s 14th Annual Progressive Dinner, we’d like to thank Winberie’s, Maya del Sol, Cucina Paradiso, Buzz Cafe, Eli’s Cheesecake Factory, Garland Flowers, and Oak Park Township for their big-hearted generosity and commitment to the well-being of all the people of this community.

These restaurants donated superb cuisine, impeccable service and charming space for our almost 200 Progressive Dinner guests. For all of us, the ultimate satisfaction came from knowing that 100% of the funds raised would be invested in Housing Forward’s solution to homelessness.

At Housing Forward, our goal is to one day end homelessness in our community. While we served almost 2,000 individuals, families and children last year, we realize that we have many more that need our support and services.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we will be able to provide programs and services for many in our community as they transition back to stability and self-sufficiency. Together, we are measurably reducing homelessness.

Mia and I were excited to be co-chairs of this event because we so strongly believe that solving homelessness (whether our neighbor’s or a stranger’s) is a shared responsibility. We patronize the restaurants listed above year-round because they — along with its people and organizations like Housing Forward — make our community a place where we look after one another.
