Dear Forest Park neighbors,
Interested in meeting more neighbors and opening your mind? Inspired by the Diversity Committee, and by Oak Park’s Dinner & Dialogue program, we wanted to do something to bring Forest Park residents together around a dinner table. Rather than a formal meeting with an agenda, we wanted people to break bread with one another and learn from each other’s different experiences. Forest Park is a diverse and vibrant town, and we want to include people of different ages, races, religions, education levels, child-having status, time in Forest Park, and more. All are welcome to sign up to host or attend a dinner, and we’re having our first meet-up on Wednesday, July 13 at Backyard Kitchen and Tap at 6:30 p.m. Let’s connect to forge relationships to strengthen our town and learn from one another.
