Art is moving right along at Grant-White! The first week was devoted to learning rules and procedures in the art room. Now, students are working on their first unit to prepare for the year. Their learning standard comes directly from the Illinois Art learning standards, and requires students to demonstrate understanding of the safe and proficient use of materials, tools, and equipment for a variety of artistic processes.
Up next, students will be working on a collaborative school wide mural based on the work of Romero Britto.
