Edward John Polaski, 77, died on Sept. 20, 2016. Born on Oct. 4, 1938, Mr. Polaski is survived by Joan, his wife of 57 years; his children, Patricia Ann Polaski and Pennie Jean Stivan; his grandchildren, Robert (Jenna) Bill Jr., Vanessa Stivan, and Max Stivan; his sister, Phyllis; his cousins, nieces, nephews, and his many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, George.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17w201 Roosevelt Rd. in Oakbrook Terrace. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29 at St. Bernardine’s Catholic Church, 7246 Harrison St. in Forest Park.
