Monarch books, that is! Mrs. Compere is introducing her students to the 2017 Monarch Book Award nominees. This week, our kindergarten students got to meet “Wolfie the Bunny.” The students loved hearing the story and enjoying the illustrations. The illustrations are so fun, that Mrs. Compere found a video in which the illustrator teaches the children how to draw their own Wolfie!. The kids had a great time making their own pictures, with lots of success. We can’t wait to see which Monarch nominee will be next in the library.
