Ms. Costenero and Mrs. Barratta-Cooper have been working with their classes to learn about their community. This week, they had a fantastic field trip in Forest Park. They were able to visit the fire station, police station, and village hall. They got behind the scenes with fire trucks, went into cells, and even used the clerk’s gavel! They followed up that fun and learning with a trip to the Junction Diner. The students (and teachers!) had a great day.
