Field-Stevenson fifth graders pair with FPMS students on a monthly math problem to give students the opportunity to gain a deeper sense of math problems, build experience solving non-routine problems, develop mathematical reasoning skills and persevere in solving them. This month, the problem scenarios had the students put down their pencil and get out of their seat to walk about and even hop the stairs to solve.
