Girls on the Run braved the weather this weekend to race in a 5K at Grant Park in Chicago. The course was 3.1 miles, along Chicago’s lakefront.
The group, founded this year at Grant-White by Ms. Suarez and Ms. Ali, boarded the bus to participate in the event sponsored by Girls on the Run Chicago. Congratulations, girls!
“So proud of our girls. They worked so hard all season and didn’t complain once. They were troopers even with the rain,” said Ms.Suarez.
