This past weekend the Forest Park Cub Scouts Pack 109 and Forest Park Firefighers Union 2753 partnered for a community Pancake Breakfast. Just hours earlier, the Firefighters managed an overnight fire on the same block of one of our Cub Scout families. Despite the long night, our Forest Park firefighters flipped pancakes and fed our friends and neighbors on that rainy Saturday morning. This wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of our local Forest Park Starbucks, Forest Park Community Center, St. John Lutheran, and the many friends, neighbors, teachers and family who came to support us. Even the Cubs Car stopped by for Pancakes! Thank you, Forest Park for your generous support.
