Delores (Dee) J. Shorner (nee Pihart), 88, of Forest Park, died peacefully on Nov. 8, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Arthur J. Shorner for 63 years; mother of the late Caryn Rowell, the late Linda Dolan, Herb (Pam) Shorner and Peter (Christina) Shorner; grandmother of Tammy (Todd) Levine, the late Timothy Schock, Michael Rowell, Jordan and Reid Shorner, and Zachary and Samuel Shorner; great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to many; and the sister of the late LaVerne (the late Willie) Jiral. Services will be private and the family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
