Holiday Walk & Festival of Windows
The Forest Park Chamber of Commerce will host a Holiday Walk & Festival of Windows downtown on Madison Street on Dec. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. Live window displays, horse-drawn carriage rides, face painting, and more will be featured.

The Forest Park Public Library wants to help you explore the Forest Park Review’s office at 141 S. Oak Park Ave. in Oak Park on Dec. 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dessert, drinks and slideshows of photos taken by FPR staff will be here to showcase what our community is made of.
Happy Record Store Day
Old School Records will host a party for Black Friday Record Store Day at 413 Desplaines Ave. on Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Studios will release exclusive, limited-edition LPs and CDs in honor of the annual event.
Job Fair
Triton College will host an Earn and Learn Job Fair at 2000 Fifth Avenue in Building B in River Grove on Nov. 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Metra, Verizon Wireless, Transparent Container Company and more will have assistants there to talk about their company’s tuition plan for employees.
Strike a pose
The Forest Park Arts Alliance invites attendees to be a part of its Live Window display on Dec. 1, if only for a moment. Drop in, don a prop and strike a pose at the storefront at the southeast corner of Madison Street and Beloit Avenue. The event will be part of the Forest Park Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday/Window Walk from 6 to 9 p.m.
Holiday Gift and Art Fair
The St. Giles Family Mass Community will host a Holiday Gift and Art Fair on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second floor of McDonough Hall at 1101 Columbian Hall. Local vendors will showcase their merchandise. A portion of all sales will be donated to Harambee New — an art exhibit of endangered
