Don’t let a lack of plans hijack your Thanksgiving feast. Below are a list of local restaurants and bars open on Thursday, Nov. 23: 

  •  Louie’s Grill, 7422 Madison St., will be open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will be serving the regular menu. 
  •  Czech Plaza Restaurant, 7016 Cermak Road, will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular specials like breaded pork tenderloin and duck will be available. The restaurant will also offer an original turkey dinner, which includes soup, a main course of ham, turkey or other dish, and dessert. Price is $14 to $18 per person. Make reservations. 
  •  Blueberry Hill, 427 Desplaines Ave., will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. The restaurant is still deciding if Thanksgiving specials like turkey will be available. 
  •  Shanahan’s Creole Restaurant and Bar, 7353 Madison St., will be open for brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The usual brunch menu will be available. Make a reservation. 
  •  Andrea’s Restaurant, 7427 Roosevelt Road, will be open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Andrea’s will have a Thanksgiving special for $12.95 per person, which includes roast turkey, a potato dish, mixed vegetables, soup or salad, stuffing, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. The regular menu will also be available. 
  •  O’Sullivan’s Public House, 7244 Madison St., will be open from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. The regular menu and specials will be available. 
  •  Mom’s Place, 819 Harlem Ave., will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mom’s will have a Thanksgiving special for $11.75 per person, which will include turkey, stuffing, potatoes, mixed vegetables and soup or salad. Pie will be available for an extra cost. The regular menu will also be served. 
  •  George’s Family Restaurant, 145 S. Oak Park Ave. in Oak Park, will be open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $13.95 per person, diners can enjoy sliced turkey breast, stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes and a slice of pumpkin pie. George’s will also make a baked ham, and its regular menu will be available. 
  •  Healy’s Westside, 7321 Madison St., will be open from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. The kitchen will be closed, but patrons are welcome to bring their own food or have it delivered. 
  •  The Original Pancake House, 7255 Madison St., will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. The regular menu will be available.
