Whether it’s dinner, drinks or a night in, Forest Parkers have a variety of options for how they can spend this New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31. Below are 10 ways you can ring in 2018. 

  • Exit Strategy, 7700 Madison St., will play host a New Year’s Eve brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with bottomless mimosas ($20 per person) and a build your own bloody bar ($14 per person). A special brunch menu will also be featured. Reservations recommended.
  • The Heritage, 7403 W. Madison St., will host three seatings for an intimate dinner. Seatings are $65 per person from 5 or 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 or 8 p.m. From 10 or 10:30 p.m., seating is $75 per person and includes midnight champagne toast. Price includes a three-course meal–with roasted quail and tuna tartar among diners’ options–with dessert. Price does not include drinks. Reservations required.
  • Scratch Kitchen, 7445 Madison St., will feature its regular menu and remain open until about 12:30 a.m. Walk-ins welcome.
  • Shanahan’s Creole Restaurant and Bar, 7353 Madison St., will offer two evening options–dinner for one for $40, and dinner for two for $75. Set dinner entrees include the choice of a ribeye steak, stuffed pork loin or lobster medallions and shrimp. The regular menu will also be available.
  • Fat Duck Tavern and Grill, 7218 Madison St., will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the kitchen closing at 4:30 p.m. The regular menu will be available with regular Sunday specials of $5 Bloody Marys and $5 mimosas.
  • Angelo O’Leary’s, 7522 Madison St., promises dancing, drinking, champagne toasts and a midnight countdown. Karaoke starts at 9 p.m. No cover charge and no outside food or drinks.
  • Blueberry Hill, 427 Desplaines Ave., will play host its annual New Year’s Eve Dance Party from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. DJ Terrance “Astro” promises to keep the party going until the early hours. 
  • Party starts at 8 p.m. at Hardwood, 7414 Madison St.
  • Doc Ryan’s Bar and Grill, 7432 Madison St., will host a New Year’s Eve party that features a champagne toast and $2 shots.
  • Golden Steer, 7635 W. Roosevelt Rd., will serve a limited menu that includes filet, prime rib, surf-and-turf and more from 4 to 11 p.m. Make reservations.
