The Park District of Forest Park has named the neighbors at 816 and 818 Circle Ave. winners in its annual Best Decorated Holiday Home in Forest Park contest. Park District staff judged the homes on curb appeal, creativity, use of theme, place, use of yard, house and originality.
“The decorations included an amazing assortment of lights, wreaths, candy canes, Santa Claus, and, of course, his trusty reindeer,” Andrew Doss, park district athletic supervisor, wrote in an email.
Doss noted the homes also covered the entirety of their lawns with decorations. Winners receive a free park district pool pass.
