Wayne Edwin Beckmann, 72, a lifetime resident of Forest Park, died peacefully at his home on Dec. 12, 2017. Born on Aug. 10, 1945, he was a member of Proviso East’s class of 1963, a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a union negotiator for Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and an entrepreneur.
Wayne was the husband of Marie Beckmann (Stanley); to father of Michelle and Matthew; the son of Edwin and Elizabeth Beckmann (Hoftey); the brother of Gerald and Joyce; and an uncle to many.
