Seed Swap
The Forest Park Community Garden will hold its eighth annual seed swap at 2 p.m. on March 11 at St. John Lutheran Church, 305 Circle Ave. Adam Barron, from nonprofit Empowering Gardens, will give a presentation on seed starting and transplanting. RSVP at www. Forestparkgrows.org.
STEAM Fair
Enjoy an afternoon full of hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics activities at the Forest Park Public Library. Triton College will also host a robotics workshop for girls as part of this year’s Mighty Girls March theme. Kids, tweens, teens and their parents and caregivers are invited to the Fair, which starts at 3 p.m. on March 10 at 7555 Jackson Blvd. Reserve tickets online.
School of Rock Musical
The Forest Park Public Library invites you to embark on a musical theater exploration through the most hardcore show on Broadway, the School of Rock Musical! Ovation Academy officials will teach attendees the music, movement and story behind the School of Rock musical, which stars children. Forest Park- Oak Park Chamber of Commerce Luncheon, After-Hours
The Forest Park- Oak Park Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on March 13 at Scratch Deli & Café, 7444 Madison St. Tickets $15. RSVP laurie@exploreforestpark.com. The Chamber will hold its After Hours that night at 5 p.m. at Grand Appliance, 7440 W. Madison St.
