Dear Forest Park,
On Wednesday, February 26, 2018, a fundraiser was held in support of the World Central Kitchen and its good work being conducted in Puerto Rico following the devastation of Hurricane Maria. True to form, our residents, and many local and regional businesses gave generously to this cause. The fundraiser was a tremendous success. Forest Parkers Mike and Katie Redmond performed spectacularly and Pat Malone served up 45 pizzas for the crowd that gathered at McGaffer’s that night. It was a large group that cozied up together in a somewhat small venue and it was great fun. I’m very pleased to report that we raised $9360.98! I will forward these funds to the World Central Kitchen next week, along with a personal letter on behalf of all Forest Parkers. I just wanted to take this moment to say thank you!
