It’s construction season again for our streets and alleys. Maybe some Forest Parkers who are going through this will benefit from my experience.
Some time ago my alley was redone, so I couldn’t use my garage. The Village assigned me a block to park on and gave me a sticker showing that I had permission to park there.
The sticker was a problem. It had too much adhesive, much more than vehicle stickers have. It took a long time and very much effort to remove it after my alley was done.
I recommend that before anyone puts a parking sticker on a car, he/she should use Sticker Shield or something similar.
