Forest Home Cemetery Bicycle Tour
Founded in 1873, Forest Home Cemetery holds the historic Haymarket Martyrs Monument, Tiffany Company monuments, a mysterious Druid monument and much more. No better way to see the large cemetery than by bicycle! Meet tour guide Anne Alt at 8:30 a.m. on July 8 in Fox Park in Oak Park, 624 S. Oak Park Ave. The ride will be a moderate pace, and last about 15-miles.
West Suburban Jazz Bus Tour
Healy’s Westside and Kagan & Gaines in Forest Park will join area venues in hosting jazz shows at 6 p.m. on July 25. Buy your tickets at jazzdesires.org before June 25 and pay only $25 for a promotional button to be worn the evening of the tour, entry into each venue and luxury bus transportation. Produced by Jazz Desires, a nonprofit that brings music to youth.

Groov’n in the Grove
Grab a blanket, pack a picnic and head over to the Grove for a summer concert under the stars. Concerts are free; food and drink will be sold. “Out of Control” band will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. on July 17 at the Grove, 7824 Madison St.

Tweens aged 8 to 11 can choose their own art adventure by creating a hands-on art project with Forest Park Public Library staff at 2 p.m. on June 22 at Creativita, 7512 Madison St. Register online at fppl.org.
Storytelling Village
The Forest Park Public Library will partner with Improv Playhouse to tell stories of Pirate Village to kids. Children will make their own puppets, and see a puppet performance by Improv Playhouse. Fun starts at 2 p.m. on June 23 at the Forest Park Public Library, 7555 Jackson Blvd.
Four Winds Casino Trip
