After almost 30 years, on October 5th, I will be retiring from the Park District of Forest Park. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing me to work for the Park District. I have had the honor of meeting many of you and I hope that the Park District has been of service to every resident.

I want to thank the Mayor, Village Boards and staff, School District Boards and staff and Chamber of Commerce for their cooperative effort in making this an amazing village. When we all work together so much can get done. I also want to thank our Legislators for their support over the years.

I especially want to thank the Park District Boards and staff. As a result of the family like atmosphere that has always been present at the district, it has always been an unbelievable pleasure to come to work every day.

Again, thank you for the all the opportunities that the last 30 years have brought, and I look forward to seeing you on Madison Street!

Larry Piekarz

Director of the Park District of Forest Park
