Forest Park District 91 and Proviso Township High Schools District 209 schools will be closed on Nov. 26 due to inclement weather. Winter Storm Bruce is expected to drop 16 inches of snow on the Chicago area, including Forest Park, according to the Weather Channel.
The Park District of Forest Park and the Howard Mohr Community Center will provide childcare. Call the community center at 708-771-7737 for more information. The Park District will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for any students who need care because of the snow day. The cost is $20 for the day and includes a snack. Students should bring a bag lunch
