A representative from from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society spoke today to kickoff our Pennies for Patients fundraising events. Pennies for Patients is a science-based, service learning program that connects schools with local blood cancer patients and allows students to see the impact they’re making in the lives of others. The mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
