Library Plalking Kickoff
Join staff from the Forest Park Public Library for a monthly Pick Up Litter While Walking—”Plalking”—trip, from 10 to 12 a.m. on April 27 at 7555 Jackson Blvd. Library will provide gloves, bags, route maps and more. Speakers will touch on environmental topics before the trip begins.
Opening a Business in Illinois
Representatives from the Women’s Business Development Center will talk about the legal and financial implications of opening a business in Illinois, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on April 30 at the Forest Park Public Library, 7555 Jackson Blvd.
Family Garage Sale and Flea Market
The Park District of Forest Park will transform its parking lot into a flea market for residents to showcase—and shop others’—used goods from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 27 at 7501 Harrison St. Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is required to save your space. Register online at pdofp.org. Residents pay $30, non-residents $40, with a $10 deposit returned the day of the event.
