The Rotary Club of Maywood/Proviso is hosting Sumbul Siddiqui, MD-MPH candidate at the Loyola Strich School of Medicine at 12:15 p.m. on August 8 at Meal of the Day Café, 1701 S. 1st Ave. in Maywood. Siddiqui is a DACA recipient. She will aims to achieve access to healthcare for the underserved. 

Stoop Sessions

The Forest Park Arts Alliance will hold its first-ever “Stoop Sessions” concert on the porch of 1529 Elgin Ave. on August 19. Daniel and Sarah Gasse, owners of the Gasse School of Music, will perform for a crowd. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to the concert.
