The Forest Park Public Library, 7775 Jackson Blvd., will be closed from Monday, Oct. 28 through Wednesday, Oct. 30 due to the ongoing interior renovation. During this time, library staff will work to move items from the main floor, which will be partially unavailable once the building reopens on Oct. 31.
Beginning Oct. 31, the public will still have access to most of the collection and the computers on the main level. The lower level will be reopened and available for use, with temporary spaces for staff and patrons.
During the closure, hold items will be unavailable for pick-up, but they will be available when the library reopens. Library staff will lengthen holds to work around the closure. The library recommends having holds sent to partner libraries if patrons are concerned about picking up requested items during the closure days.
