Over 50 behavioral healthcare and social services providers will be available during the 13th annual Resource Fair at Riveredge Hospital. Free healthcare screenings
The CVS store at 7216 Circle Ave. will host a health screening on Nov. 7 from 2 to 6 p.m. The free screenings will help identify chronic conditions before they become life-threatening and include Body Mass Index, blood pressure and glucose. 129th Harlem Männer und Damenchor concert and dance
On Saturday, Nov. 2, enjoy song and dance with guest chorus Austrian Mixed Choir and dance music performed by The Apliner Trio. Veteran’s Day dinner and special program
Join the Historical Society of Forest Park on Nov. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m. as they host their annual Veteran’s Day dinner and presentation at the American Legion, 500 Circle Ave. Veterans are invited to enjoy a complimentary dinner. Additional guests and family can purchase dinner for $15 for adults and $5 for children, and a cash bar will be available. Presentations include Historical Society board member Nancy Cavaretta’s oral history presentation “Our Neighbors, Our Heroes,” featuring interviews with Forest Park veterans. Friday, Nov. 8 from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Exploration Storytime. Join us for stories, songs and hands-on exploring of art, science, tinkering and everything in between. Fun for ages 5 and under.
