Kenneth M. Kleisner, 72, of Forest Park, died peacefully on Jan. 10, 2020, surrounded by his family. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and a good bonfire. He served with the U.S. Army in Thailand during the Vietnam War. A lifelong craftsman, he was skilled in carpentry and electrical work and built his house in Wisconsin with his own two hands. He was always ready to help anyone in need, whether they were friends or strangers.
Kenneth Kleisner is survived by his wife, Fran Arcuri; his daughters, Kellie Setser and Lynette (Matt) Gilbert; his stepchildren, Jackie Folena and Ron Scharenberg; his grandchildren, Jacob, Joey, Samantha, Ashley, Christopher, Alexandra, and Ryan; his great-grandchildren his brother, Lon (Roberta); his brother-in-law, Julio Arcuri; and countless cousins, family, and friends throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. He will be missed by all.
Visitation is on Wednesday, Jan. 15 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Forest Park’s Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 W. Madison St. Services will be held there on Thursday at 11a.m. Interment will be private.
