I have no idea how to use the new parking payment thing, and it is difficult to do the extra walking. I’m very sorry to be driven away from going to businesses in Forest Park. This seems insignificant to everyone who can easily do it. It is one additional hurdle to deal with for senior citizens who still want to be independent.
I have tried Googling for simple explicit instructions, which seem to be about printing a receipt to go back and put in your car. I don’t think that is what Forest Park has.
For many years a lot of seniors have had to stop going to Oak Park because of parking; now they can no longer go to Forest Park. The village will make money on fees – and a lot of fines. How will the businesses do?
