Because of the Illinois shelter in place order effective March 21 at 5 p.m., Forest Park is closing village hall beginning Monday, March 23.
According to Village Administrator Tim Gillian, staff will be on hand to answer phone calls to both the village hall phone number, 708-366-2323 (from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday) and the non-emergency police number, 708-366-2425 (24 hours a day).
Emergency services will not be affected in any way; residents with an emergency should call 9-1-1.
Additionally, beginning March 20, the overnight parking ban will be lifted, and cars parked on streets during the overnight hours will not be ticketed.
