Field Stevenson teachers and staff held signs outside the school, 925 Beloit Ave., and waved to families who drove by during the school’s socially distanced parade. It was a chance for teachers and students to see each other safely, and an opportunity to have a little fun. Who doesn’t love a parade?
Re”tie”rement Parade
Betsy Ross staff is hosting a drive-by parade to honor retirees Mr. Milnamow and Mrs. Compere on June 1 at noon. The community, including students and teachers past and present, are invited to drive by Betsy Ross and wave. The school is located at 1315 Marengo Ave.
Everyone is asked to wear a tie in homage to Milnamow’s iconic tie collection.
The rain date is June 2.
