Madison Street Art Stroll

Music on the Porch with DuoSonic

Join DuoSonic on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 6 to 7 p.m. at 908 Beloit Ave. for a porch concert in celebration of Play Music on the Porch day. DuoSonic is “two guys playing various guitars, percussion, wind instruments and singing a variety of musical styles from classical, to jazz to folk rock to rock.” The concert is free, but you can contribute to the tip jar if you’re so inclined. Drive-in Movie at the Altenheim

Virtual Sign Language Basics for Teens

On Monday, Aug. 31, from 1 to 2 p.m., high school students are invited to participate in a Zoom class through the Berwyn Public Library to learn a few basic signs and a little about deaf culture. An instructor from the Chicago Hearing Society will be teaching the class at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83092476265.
