Forest Park Fire Department Blood Drive
Come out on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to donate blood at 517 Desplaines Ave.
The need for blood is constant as the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in numerous drives being canceled. All successful blood donations will be tested for COVID-19 antibodies, so donors can learn if they’ve had a past COVID infection. All participants will receive a Vitilant lunch bag.
To schedule an appointment, visit vitilang.org or call 877-25VITAL. Use group code 545E. Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and Vitilant staff will wipe down all areas between donors. Temperatures will be taken at the entrance, and all donors and staff must wear masks.
