With the National Weather Service issuing a winter storm warning for the Chicago area and the large amount of snow already on the ground, the village of Forest Park has announced that it will be strictly enforcing snow routes.
Vehicles in violation of snow routes will be ticketed and towed, according to an announcement from the village.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 15, at 12:01 a.m., snow routes will be in effect and will remain so until further notice.
Residents are asked to keep the streets clear at night and park vehicles off the street so roads can be plowed.
