Confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Forest Park are fairly consistent with the rest of suburban Cook County, according to data and this graph accessed from the Cook County Department of Public Health on Feb. 16.

A 79-year-old woman died from COVID-19 on Feb. 9, marking the 28th coronavirus related death in Forest Park since the pandemic began. It was also the first COVID-19 related death in over a month among Forest Park residents.

In total, Forest Park has had 1,045 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. As of Feb. 16, 12 cases were reported in the previous week and the percent change in confirmed cases over the past 14 days was down by 6.25 percent, according to the Cook County Department of Public Health.
