Easter Egg Hunts at the Park District

The Park District of Forest Park is hosting Easter egg hunts for kids up to age 14. On Friday, March 26 at 8 p.m., children aged 9 through 14 are invited to a flashlight egg hunt at the park district, 7501 Harrison St. On Saturday, March 27, children up to 9 years old are invited to egg hunts at 10 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m. For more information, visit https://www.pdofp.org/.
Learn about Jane Goodall at the Trailside Museum

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Trailside Museum of Natural History, 738 Thatcher Ave. in River Forest, is hosting a story trail featuring the life and work of Jane Goodall. The program runs through March 27, and after walking the story trail, participants are invited to pick up a bag with related crafts and activities from the museum. Sidewalk Obstacle Course
On March 28 from 1 to 4 p.m., join the Forest Park Public Library for an outdoor obstacle course. Follow instructions and arrows on the sidewalk around the block. No registration is necessary, and families are invited to share photos to ys@fppl.org. For more information, visit fppl.org/events.
Reading Awake Book Group Discusses “Luster”

Join the Reading Awake Book Group of the Forest Park Public Library on March 31 from 7 to 8 p.m. for a virtual discussion of the book “Luster” by Raven Leilani.
