This photo, of Henry J. Mohr residence at 447 Marengo was taken circa 1900, in what was then known as Harlem. Note the wood plank sidewalk and side dirt road. In the rear left of the photo, is the Carney cherry orchard. The barn in the time of the photo at the rear of the house was used to house the horses of the Fire Department and Mr. Mohr’s oil wagon.
