Almost all of the time, I agree with the Our View section on the Opinion Page. However, I must take exception with comments on CVS. I have been a customer for over 30 years (it was an Osco before it became a CVS).
I found it to be a great store, a great location and a tremendous courteous staff. The pharmacy workers were outstanding as that was the majority of my business. Also, I heard from an employee that the owner of the property offered CVS a main floor store with residential above. Corporate CVS turned that down.
Some of the CVS employees are still looking for an opportunity at another CVS. To label the store as an also-ran store with an indifferent staff is false and insulting.
