Sandra L. Ericksen, 79, of Vandalia, Illinois, formerly of Forest Park, died on Dec. 7, 2021, in her home. Born on Oct. 6, 1942, in Chicago, the daughter of Erling and Dorothy (Kolofa) Johnson, she married John Ericksen on Aug. 29, 1964 in Chicago. She was an office manager and paralegal for over 25 years for a Chicago law firm. She was a member of the Vandalia YMCA, the Soroptimist International Club, and the Vandalia Country and Golf Club.
Sandra is survived by her husband, John Ericksen; her son, Chad Ericksen; her daughter, Traci Stewart and Stacy; her brother, Jeffrey Johnson and Denise; and four grandchildren, Shelbi and Cody Stewart, Taylor and Tiffanie Ericksen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ginger Rasmussen; and her brother, Michael Johnson.
An Open House and Celebration of Life was held on Dec. 12 at Vandalia Country Club, Vandalia, with Pastor Robert Weaver officiating.
