Rohrs wins the prize for top float
The 1929 Forest Parker featured this prize-winning float from the Oct. 23 Greater Forest Park Celebration. It was entered by Rohrs Music Shop which was located in the Ascher Theater Building at 7526 Madison St. (present day McDonald’s). Allie Rohrs was presented the “beautiful loving cup by the businessmen for his trouble.”
