Practice your holiday cooking with us November 2nd!
By Forest Park Community Garden
Join us to celebrate the closing of a successful 2014 garden season at the community garden by sharing some your garden's harvests. In place of our yearly fundraiser, we'll be holding a potluck meal and garden "Swap-O-Rama." Bring a dish, bring seeds, bulbs, house plants, cuttings and hand tools to swap. Along with a swapping table, we'll have items available for a small cash donations to the garden. Click here to RSVP
FPCG is volunteer-run and relies on YOUR support to help us keep the garden going and keep plot rental fees low. Each year we ask you to join us for a fun event to help us raise the funds we need to operate this all-volunteer organization.
This will be our ONLY fundraiser for the 2014 season. There'll be games, a garden swap-o-rama, an ice cream sundae buffet by Brown Cow, and a chance to get to know fellow gardeners and neighbors. And even some time to share your experiences and suggestions for next year with select board members.
The potluck is FREE to current plot renters who bring a dish to share. Potential members, friends, family, and members of the community are welcomed to attend. The event is $5 for non-members who bring a dish to share, and $10 for non-members without a dish. To attend RSVP here.
So invite a friend (or two), or come on your own if you're looking to make friends with a welcoming group of locals. Children for all are $3 per child (over 3 years old).
All proceeds go to Forest Park Community Garden to help fulfill our mission of bringing green, organic gardening space to Forest Park.
