The annual Chamber of Commerce Holiday Walk is known for the Fire Department's delivery of Santa to Forest Park Bank, visiting reindeer and a villagewide showcase of locals performing in the windows and serving hot chocolate to welcome the season.

Back in 1997, My Sister's cafe hosted cookie decorating; petting reindeer roamed the parking lot at Forest Park National Bank, and the Forest Park Review andTrage Bros. donated a 27-inch Sanyo television was won by Tom and Laura Hardin.
