Betsy Ross School is a special community in which Respect, Responsibility, and Safety are key. The other key ingredient is the people! From students to staff, there is a feeling of warmth and kindness everywhere in the building.
The unsung heroes of our school are our fabulous Instructional Assistants! Our aides go above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis. They have received specialized reading intervention training that allows them to work with small groups to individualize instruction. Many of our aides are certified teachers who step up to the plate to lead classes in the event that a teacher is called away. Our Instructional Assistants help teachers prepare for classroom activities, work with small groups, facilitate PBIS interventions, and are integral in making our school days run smoothly and our children happy and successful.
The entire Betsy Ross community wants to give our wonderful aides a big “thank you” for all they do!
