Franciscan Outreach Assn. provides for basic human needs such as food, shelter, encouragement, and assistance in creating a better life for the homeless and marginalized.
We pledge to walk with them by being vulnerable, by advocating for them, and by being reliable. We wish to provide an open, respectful, welcoming, secure environment and to affirm the dignity of our guests.
Ultimately, we are looking for the transformation of ourselves and our society.

Marquard Center:
Serve dinner to poor and homeless individuals in our soup kitchen. Duties include greeting guests; filling trays with food and delivering to tables; filling water pitchers; cleaning up. We need 6-8 volunteers every day from 4:45-7pm.
 
For groups, there is also the option of preparing a home-cooked meal for soup kitchen and serving it.

Shelter:
Serve soup and sandwiches to shelter residents as they come in for the evening. Volunteer hours are 7:15-9:15pm. We need 2-3 volunteers per night.
