Myrna Wolf, 81
Medical transcriptionist, quilt maker

Myrna Marie Wolf, 81, of Crystal Lake and formerly of Forest Park, died on Oct. 28, 2019 at Bickford Senior Living in Crystal Lake. Born on March 30, 1938 in Greene, Iowa to William and Lottie Ramker (nee Blankenship), she married Dennis Wolf on Jan. 29, 1972, and they spent the next 46 happy years together until his passing on June 27, 2018. Myrna was employed for many years as a medical transcriptionist first by Oak Park Hospital, and later she retired from Loyola University Medical Center. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, making quilts, and Bible studies.
Myrna Wolf is survived by her children, Mark Riehle, Mitch (Rose) Riehle, Margaret (Steve) Riehle-Moeller and Mary (Dave) Gosztola; her son-in-law, Eugene Ramirez; and her 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lottie Ramker; her husband, Dennis Wolf; her daughter, Marilyn Ramirez; and her brothers, Bernard, Kenneth and Robert Ramker; her sister, Shirley Grimm; and her twin sister at birth. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visitation is at 1 p.m., with a memorial service at 2 p.m., for both Myrna and her husband, Dennis, on Nov. 17 at Cross Lutheran Church, 8609 Route 47, in Yorkville, with Pastor Matt Conrad officiating, followed by private interment.
