Matt Mathey, 69

Matt H. Mathey, 69, of Forest Park and formerly of Riverside, died on April 28, 2018. Born on Nov. 7, 1948, he served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a tile worker for a marble and granite contractor. 

Matt Mathey was the father of Matt (Lisa), Craig, Dina and Mary (Michael) Arlowski; grandfather of Ashley, Joseph, Colin, Matthew, Grace, Elizabeth, Scarlett, and the late Madeline; great-grandfather of Jesus Jr. and Isaiah; and the brother of Karl. 

Visitation is on Monday, May 7 at 3 p.m. until time of service with military honors, 8 p.m., at Kuratko-Nosek Funeral Home, 2447 S. Desplaines Ave., North Riverside. 

Private interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered to the family at
