Bernadette Johnson, 74
Forest Park resident
Bernadette E. Johnson (nee Walkowiak), 74, of Forest Park has died. She was the daughter of the late Lottie and Roman Walkowiak; the mother of Cassandra A. Johnson (Terrence Locke); the former wife and lifelong friend of the late Russell W. Johnson Jr.; sister-in-law of Kevin (Kathy and Bridget) Johnson and Mary Ellen Johnson; and neighbor and friend to many.
Visitation was held on July 9 at Zimmerman-Harnett Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass on July 10 at St. Bernardine Catholic Church. Interment was private.
The family appreciates donations to the American Red Cross.
