Loved what made life meaningful

Robert A. Sullivan, 86, a longtime resident of Forest Park, died on July 27, 2019 in Borrego Springs, California. Born on Oct. 11, 1932 in Yonkers, New York, to Jennie and Mike Sullivan, he served in the U.S. Air Force, then worked as a copywriter at several major Chicago advertising agencies. In his retirement, he became a freelance writer and feature contributor to the Forest Park Review and Wednesday Journal newspapers.

He was a fan of baseball, the universe, poetry, old-time jazz, and dogs (not an all-inclusive list).

He is survived by his wife, Barbara and his daughters, Jill Sullivan and Cara Boling. He was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur.

Bob was cremated and his ashes will be scattered in several places that meant much to him.
