Mrs. Clean dry cleaners
Virginia M. Schweder, nee Duerr, 76, of Forest Park, died August 13. Mrs. Schweder was the wife of the late Ralph H. Schweder, and the mother of Glenn Schweder.
Mrs. Schweder, who owned and operated Mrs. Clean dry cleaners on Madison Street for about 10 years, also had two grandchildren, Randy and Chris.
Visitation was held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16 at Zimmerman-Ehringer-Harnett Funeral Home, 7319 W. Madison.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Alta M. Frye, 83, Former FP resident, avid gardener
Alta M. Frye, nee Smith, 83, died August 6 at the Victorian Manor Care Center in LaGrange.
Mrs. Frye, a homemaker, avid gardener and member of the Usher Board of Cannan Baptist Church, is survived by her husband, Henry Frye, her son, Henry Jr., and her daughter, Sarah “Pam” Williams, as well as her six grandchildren.
Visitation was held August 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Kopicki’s Parkwyn Funeral Home in Berwyn, and the funeral was held the next day, with interment at the Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park.
